Introduction Video Released
We are pleased to announce the release of the PERSEUS Introduction video, which provides a clear overview of the project’s goals and its role in advancing next-generation solar technologies in Europe.
The video outlines the current limitations of conventional photovoltaic solutions and introduces printed perovskite solar cells (PSCs) - a lightweight, efficient and cost-effective technology already achieving over 27% efficiency in laboratory settings.
It also presents the three scalable perovskite module architectures developed within PERSEUS and their relevance for real-world applications such as floating photovoltaics, agrivoltaics, building-integrated systems, and urban installations.
In the video, viewers will learn about:
The technical barriers to scaling perovskite solar cells from lab samples to large-area modules
The three module concepts developed in PERSEUS: opaque, semi-transparent, and four-terminal tandem
How the project supports industry through practical manufacturing roadmaps and blueprints
The video highlights how PERSEUS brings research organisations, manufacturers, and end users together to accelerate the transition from laboratory innovation to market-ready solar solutions.
We invite you to watch and share the video, and to follow the PERSEUS journey toward a sustainable and competitive European solar industry.
