PERSEUS represented at EERA Workshop on Photovoltaics & Digitalization

The PERSEUS project was represented at the EERA Workshop on Photovoltaics & Digitalization, held on 25–26 February 2026 in Vienna, Austria, with hybrid participation from experts across Europe.

The workshop is a joint initiative of two EERA Joint Programmes: Photovoltaics (JP PV) and Digitalisation for Energy (JP DfE). It brings together experts from photovoltaics, measurement technologies, meteorology, modelling, AI, data science, and digital energy solutions to discuss how digital tools can better support photovoltaic applications.

During the event, Dimitra Gkogkou from Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, a member of the PERSEUS consortium, presented the project’s approach to monitoring the production of perovskite solar cells. The workshop created an opportunity for valuable exchange across the photovoltaic value chain, highlighting how digital tools can support more efficient and reliable PV technologies.

Over two days, participants engaged in presentations, round-table discussions, poster sessions, and networking activities. These interactions fostered interdisciplinary dialogue on topics such as measurement technologies, AI-based analytics, PV system operation, and data infrastructures for future energy systems.

Participation in events such as this supports the PERSEUS project’s broader objective of advancing next-generation photovoltaic technologies and strengthens collaboration across the European PV and digitalisation communities.
