Strengthening collaboration: Epishine and HZB visit TNO facilities
Collaboration across partners is a key driver of progress in the PERSEUS project. As part of these efforts, Alina Hauser (Epishine) and Dimitra Gkogkou (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin) visited TNO on 31st March and 1st April to exchange knowledge and align on ongoing and future activities.
During the visit, the participants explored TNO’s facilities for flexible perovskite module manufacturing, integration, and characterisation. The lab tour covered the full process, including layer deposition, interconnection, encapsulation, and testing, providing a comprehensive insight into module development.
Beyond the technical aspects, the visit also enabled discussions on data sharing and management, particularly in relation to the NOMAD platform, which supports data handling within the project.
On the second day, the exchange continued with presentations from both visiting partners. Epishine shared an overview of its ongoing activities, while Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, in its role as data steward, presented progress related to the implementation of the data platform.
The visit was hosted by the TNO team, including Giulia Lucarelli, Felipe Vinocour Pacheco, Corné Frijters, and Ilker Dogan, and marked an important step in strengthening collaboration between Epishine, HZB, and TNO, supporting alignment across technical development and data management within the PERSEUS project.
